Ho Lee Construction Pte Ltd (HLC) started out as a Sanitary and Plumbing contractor in 1972 knows as Ho Lee Plumbing Pte Ltd undertaking mainly sanitary and plumbing works for public residential housing projects. In 1980, HLC was incorporated and it began to take on general building construction as a Main Building Contractor. HLC had developed core competencies in building construction over the years and had won recognition from the BCA as well as from its employers such as the Housing and Development Board of Singapore (HDB) and the Defence Science Technology Agency (DSTA).
The company had diverse into the field of infrastructure in 2001 and had completed projects such as MRT Stations and Deep Tunnel Sewerage System (DTSS) Projects.
Currently, HLC is a Licensed Builder and Registered Contractor graded by BCA in the Workhead CW01 (General Building) as Grade A1 Contractor and graded as B1 Contractor in the Workhead CW02 (Civil Engineering). The company is also a Registered BCA Licensed Builders in the categories of GB1 (General Builder Class 1) and SB (SS) Specialist Builder (Structural Steel Work).

Wee Poh Construction Co. (Pte) Ltd
Wee Poh Construction Co. (Pte) Ltd (WPC) was incorporated in 1977 with its main business in the construction of infrastructure works for the public sector. It was a subsidiary company of Wee Poh Holdings Ltd (WPH) which is a company listed on the SGX.
WPH restructured in 2004 and realigned its focus to other business segment and HLG saw an opportunity to acquire WPC to shore up its construction capability.
The acquisition of WPC was completed in 2005 and became a wholly owned subsidiary of HLC. Sharing the same office with HLC, not only was WPC assimilated into the Ho Lee family and adopts the company culture, it has been certified to comply with current ISO Integrated Quality and Safety Management System following the acquisition. WPC is currently a Grade A1 Contractor registered with BCA under the workhead of CW01. It is also a GB1 Licensed Builders under General Builder Class 1.
Since its acquisition by HLG, WPC has to-date completed several projects in the capacity of a specialist trade sub-contractor and as the Main Contractor. These projects include a 2 Storey Ramp Up Single User Factory at Tuas South Avenue 3/2 Tuas Bay Drive, 394 Units of Executive Condominium Housing Development at Upper Serangoon Road/Upper Serangoon View (Heron Bay), a project comprising 30 units of Semi-detached Houses and 10 units of Detached Houses complete with ancillary infrastructure works (Michael’s Residence) and 546 units Lake Life Executive Condominium Housing Development located near Lakeside MRT. These projects have been successfully completed and handed over to the developers. Currently, WPC is also the main contractor for a HDB project in Tampines.
Moving forward, WPC foresees the opportunity to acquire more projects in the public and private sector given the still robust construction demand and will forge forward in its endeavours to become a premium builders.
